About the Role - Senior Casualty Claims Adjuster
Responsibilities -
- Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
- Determine coverage
- Determine liability
- Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
- Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims
- Communicate claims procedures and processes to involved parties verbally and in writing.
- Address the bodily injury claims of unrepresented and/or attorney-represented parties.
- Review all submitted injury-related documentation for accuracy and appropriateness to establish realistic injury settlement ranges.
- Comply with all required reporting requirements, such as ISO, CMS, etc.
Qualifications -
· Five or more years of experience in an insurance claims environment, preferably personal lines automobile, is required. Successful experience as a Casualty or Attorney Represented adjuster is a prerequisite.
-College Degree Preferred
· Working knowledge of injury mechanics and appropriate injury treatment practices.
· Strong written & verbal communication skills;
· Time management skills;
· Ability to multitask and take direction.
· Licensed adjuster who’s license is in good standing with the Department of Insurance.
Pay range and compensation package - $60,000 - $75,000 annually
